An "Installation Manager" is a program designed to
ease the burden of downloading and installing files onto your computer.
To this end Zap™ has been developed.
It is still in it's beta stage of development!
Currently Zap™ has several features
- User friendly
- Self upgrading - as new versions and fixes come out, Zap™
will replace itself
- Resumable - if you lose your connection Zap™ it will pick up
from where it left off, saves time and money.
- Transfer validation - tests the downloaded file to see if it is ok, if not
Zap™ gets it again.
- Once the file is downloaded it starts the application.
- Mirrored locations - Zap can download software from several locations, so
if one server is down it doesn't mean you have to wait
Zap will automatically try the mirror server
Please note Zap™ is *NOT* compression software like Zip, it will also
not effect the operation of GoZilla or Getright.
